One curling stone can cost thousands of U.S. dollars each.

to give up their phones for a week...

"I'm already really bored."

But then something interesting...

start not going on the phone as much."

"I went to dinner with my family and

I didn't have my phone

so we really just like

talked the whole time

and that was nice."

Giving up phones entirely

is of course not realistic,

but being smarter about smart phones

is something parents

and now perhaps Apple

itself cannot ignore.
